I show you my pagan prayer beads and basically tell you how to use them. I do not want to “tell” people how to use them this is just a suggestion.

I was wondering what sutras that Thay and his monastics usually recite, and if anyone could provide links to the correct translations and recitations of these sutra. Also I was told that Thay and his monastics use a Buddhist Mala(Prayer Beads) if they really do then what mantra do they recite. I would like to know the mantra they recite. If anyone can provide links to the mantra and sutras that Thay recites that would be great!!!

Garuda is the king of all gods – and is on all Thai paper money and all government documents in Thailand. Garuda is half man and half bird… and all god. ;) This is brass and large.

I am a male and I just bought a leather bracelet that has 2 rows of rhinestones studs and a single row of spikes. Would this be considered a wonan’s or man’s bracelet or is there a difference. I just hope i didn’t buy a woman’s studded bracelet. I don’t know anything about studded bracelets. I just bought it becaused I like it.

There is an event Friday at Inner Sun Yoga Studio the whole family can enjoy.

I have never seen Thich Nhat Hanh using a Buddhist Mala, or Buddhist prayer beads. Does Thay and his monastic brothers and sister use a mala to recite mantra? Please provide specific information if he does, and if there is a picture with him using it

I am looking for a non-fussy exercise that I can do at home. I would like to sweat a little from it, but the main thing is that I exercise my muscles safely (not interested in muscle building). I have tried a little bit of yoga, and I really liked how I felt afterwards. I really like the stretching, and breathing aspects. But, I am a Christian, and the spiritual aspect of yoga;the fact that it’s leaning toward Eastern religion, bothers me (no offense to those who believe it). Thanks for your answers!

This isn’t a Request… more like practice. Approximate time: 49 minutes Soo I’m sure you’re wondering whats this about. I had a great day. Filled with meaning and important things and it made me happy. I guess Misty would be the only one who knows the full story, but basically I drew this for two reasons. One, so I can capture the moment. The green color is supposed to be Jade. I seen a 7000 dollar Jade bracelet today and I was so amazed. I was thinking to myself that… one day, I’d like to own that. But, that doesn’t mean much since it’s just material stuff… So in the drawing, the Jade green color represents my Determination… and as you all probably can guess by now, I have a very strong determination :D :D The red string thing has it’s own purposes, but for the drawing specifically, it represents my training and the dedication. Get it? The training, plus the dedication…. The Piece of paper is literally a Buddhist fortune I got. I felt like it was the perfect thing to add to the piece. I wanna remember today and everything that went with it, because today was a true test about my Pride, Bravery and Courage and I think I passed :D —————————— On the other hand, I also bought a lot of new drawing tools. My custom drawing set is officially complete. I have all the tools I need. This was also the most perfect drawing I can think of to test my new items out because I bought a new canary yellow color pencil, I bought new blacks, And I bought new

Gold birthday Buddha Amulets.
